Collaborations
Recent collaborations using cyanotype photographs by Grahame Lynch have presented an interesting opportunity for us to explore and connect our different perspectives on similar themes and have these emerge as a visual conversation. We both make work that deals with memory, time and place, and we are interested in discovering the potential to find new meaning at the intersections of our separate disciplines and approaches to subject matter. Combining stitched interventions with photographs and drawn elements invites dialogue about our shared themes through a juxtaposition of images and surfaces. Of particular interest are the numerous smaller pieces that emerge as we work and their potential to be physically combined and altered in ways that expand their materiality and depth and the complexity of their voices.
